As the School Year Starts

Year come and go. I remember the year I brought home both of my kids from the hospital. This year one graduates from elementary school and one is entering middle school. What an exciting year it will be? As look back, a tear comes to my eye. This time of the year is sad for many mothers who are sending their kids off to college, school for the first time, or entering a new school. I have always imagined what my kids would be like older when they were little. They have become awesome people. Their walk with God is different than mine but yet they trust in Him fully. Homeschooling has become a great education for them, we have traveled through many countries experiencing the food and culture. I have learned as well as them. My kids have taught me a great many lessons along the way. God sent me on this adventure to learn along with them, and we all have become different people because of it. We all have grown, changed and become closer to Our Blessed Lord than I ever would have sending them to Catholic School. As the school year starts tomorrow, I want to wish you all a Blessed New School Year!

Governor and Voting

I rarely put up political posts but today I will.  Today my son voted for the first time in our NJ primary for governor.  It has saddened me...
